“You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles in the desert, repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves”
— Mary Oliver "Wild Geese"

As a yoga practitioner and teacher, this extract from Mary Oliver's poem encapsulates exactly my attitude and approach to yoga. For me, yoga is a time to come home, to check in and to allow the moment- to- moment experience to be exactly as it is. It is a constant practice! But one that I truly believe serves us both on and off the mat. Let's learn to come home to ourselves.
